OmniSwitch 6860:-The new OmniSwitch 6860 (OS6860) comes with embedded analytics and programmability to create one of the most advanced gigabit access switches available. The Innovative switch provides wire-rate deep packet inspection and policy enforcement rights, allowing IT lot more visibility of applications used, bandwidth management capability, and quick ability to enforce o control prioritization, QoS and security policies.
Wireless LAN:-The Company has enhanced its network services capabilities to include DPI capability of nearly 1500 applications and programmability support on Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniAccess WLAN controllers. These access points allow better adaptation of of Gigabit wireless (802.11ac) and manage diverse deployment needs including outdoor, low cost APs and Instant APs.
OmniVista 2500 Network Management System:-OmniVista’s design has been modified to enhance its capabilities to support network analytics and assist enterprises in their quest to move towards more cloud-based services. The design features include Multi-tenancy and a distributed architecture which allows resilience, scalability, and future cloud-based service capabilities to clients.
Open APIs for future interoperability in SDN architecture is also a feature of products introduced. The newly designed web based user interface allows IT network people to access the NMS from even hand held devices like tablets and smartphones.
Alcatel Lucent SA (ADR) (NYSE:ALU) has also enhanced its centralized network analytics capabilities to provide a wide-ranging view of the users, devices and applications which would enable the clients to apply the appropriate policies to the network devices.
