Boston, MA, 02/28/2014 – Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:TSM)‘s subsidiary TSM Solar and Centrosolar America have together announced an agreement relating to the deployment of TSMC’s CIGS solar modules across North America. With the agreement, Centrosolar America becomes the exclusive provider of the company’s solar modules in residential as well as the commercial markets of North America. TSMC Solar’s CIGS solar modules is cost effective and has distinctive features to set it apart from others. The main characteristic among which is its better kWh per Watt yield.
Salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) soared as it delivered above par with the expectation of market in it fourth quarter earnings. The company’s EPS for the quarter came at $0.07, beating the estimate of $0.06 per share. Revenues too increased 37% year-over-year to $1.15 billion, above the forecast by $20 million. Apart from the results, the company also announced the departure of its Chief Financial Officer Graham Smith, who is retiring this March. For the current quarter, the company anticipated the revenue above market consensus of $1.19 billion to $1.205-$1.21 billion. While its EPS estimate is in between $0.09-$0.10 per share. For the financial year 2015, ending in Jan. ’15, Salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE:CRM)’s guidance for revenue and EPS is at $5.25B-$5.3B and $0.48-$0.50 respectively, as against the analyst consensus of $5.21B and $0.50.
