General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) made an agreement with these channel partners under which the authorized Canadian partners of the firm will directly serve the industrial customers of the firm with its electrical products. The agreement will be immediately effective in the industrial market and will help the industrial customers to access GE’s products in an easier way as now there will be one-stop coordination for products and local support branches for the project need of the customers.
As said by the Canadian region exec of GE, Adrian Thomas, this plan of the firm will help it to reinforce its commitment towards the Canadian industrial customers as well as the channel partners. Further he added that this time is perfect to reach the Canadian market through local authorized channels.
With the enforcement of this plan, the customers of GE will have an easy access to the entire range of industrial products available in all the authorized channel partners’ locations.
Other changes made by GE
GE has made some more changes in the firm in order to strengthen its roots in Canada to a greater extent. This change includes the appointment of sales agencies. The appointment includes Genetic System Solutions Inc. and Specialized Power Solutions. These agencies have been appointed to carry out the sale of GE’s electric distribution products in Canada.
Specialized Power Solutions will cover the areas of Alberta and British Columbia. And Genetic System Solutions will be focusing on Alberta and Ontario.
With these changes and appointments, GE is anticipating growth of its business in Canada. Also, the changes would help General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) to strengthen its relation with the Canadian market and customers.
